A quick explanation on how this will work. You will find here, a few lists. One of which, is called "Must Try This." A food version of my bucket list, if you will. Another, is "Tried, Tasted, Tested." At the bottom of each tried recipe, you will find a few grades (if the meal makes A's or B's in any of the 3 areas, it will appear on that list as well): 1. Prep Time. Recipes must be realistic for a busy lifestyle.
2. Family's Response. If it passes THIS test, I'm doing cartwheels.
3. Nutritiousness. If you make the effort, it better do a body good.
Cooking mostly with light and fresh ingredients, hence, the name of this blog. However, you may find me in a weak moment from time to time, trying, tasting, and testing items from the naughty list. Not to worry, along with the heavenly recipes on this list, you will also see how many miles it will take to walk it off.
